What great service I received from Mr Salvi the eye consultant at The Thornbury Hospital.I had a cateract removed,and Mr Salvi told me I would experience a gritty sensation for a couple of days,but I can say that I never felt a thing,when I decide to have my other eye done I will ask Mr Salvi to do it.

Totally delighted with the service and care provided by Sachin. Having double cataract surgery at a younger age was a huge issue for me but I'm so happy with the results. I've gone from awful blurred vision to clear sight, with no need for glasses for distance. Made a huge difference to my day to day living

I arranged a consultation with Mr Salvi to examine my cataracts as my vision had become very poor during lockdown. I had researched consultants and decided that Mr Salvi was someone that I could have confidence in. After the consultation results Mr Salvi explained that it was possible to remove the cataracts and to implant a lens that would greatly improve my distance and middle vision sight.The right eye was the first to be done and the result was unbelievable. I have never been able to see as well through it even when I wore glasses.The left eye was done 4 weeks later and this has also been a great success.I can now enjoy my outdoor activities without glasses which is a great result for me. I can now also read the smallest print, which will be great when I read menus in restaurants. For years I have been complaining about the size of the print in low light conditions. This is now not a problem. I cannot praise Mr Salvi and his team enough and would like to express my gratitude for what they have done for me.

I have had 2 cataract operations performed by Mr Salvi in the last 6 months. I had excellent treatment from him and the staff at the Claremont hospital. He explained the procedure before the operation and was completely professional throughout the operations and aftercare. My vision is now 20/20, thank you. I would highly recommend this consultant.

Lovely doctor who gave a very thorough examination. He spent a lot of time with me and put me at ease. He advised me about ways forward with treatment but did not pressure me to decide. I would definitely recommend Mr Salvi.
